avfile.io maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward any illegal content. Our platform is designed for legitimate file sharing purposes only, and we take immediate action when illegal content is identified or reported. This policy applies to all users regardless of their location, and we cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies worldwide.

Emergency Reports

For emergencies involving child exploitation or imminent threat to life, contact law enforcement directly. We cooperate fully with all law enforcement investigations and respond to emergency requests within 1 hour.

Technical Safeguards

avfile.io employs multiple technical measures to prevent and detect illegal content on our platform:

  • Auto-Expiration System — All files have a mandatory expiration period (1 hour to 30 days). Files are automatically and permanently deleted after their retention period, limiting the window of availability for any illegal content.
  • Encryption at Rest — Files are encrypted using AES-256 encryption on Cloudflare R2 Storage. This ensures that even if storage is compromised, file contents remain unreadable without proper authorization.
  • Presigned URL Access — Files are only accessible through time-limited presigned URLs. These URLs expire after a set period, preventing persistent access to file content.
  • IP-Based Tracking — Upload activities are logged with IP addresses for accountability. This information is shared with law enforcement when legally required.
  • HTTPS / TLS 1.2+ Encryption — All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher with SHA-256 and RSA-4096, ensuring that file transfers cannot be intercepted by third parties.

Consequences of Violations

Violations of this policy result in immediate action. Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, consequences may include:

  • Immediate removal of the offending file(s)
  • Permanent ban of the uploader's IP address
  • Referral to law enforcement agencies
  • Preservation of evidence for legal proceedings

Adult Content Prohibition

Uploading, sharing, or distributing pornographic, nude, or sexually explicit content is strictly prohibited on avfile.io. This policy applies to all forms of adult content regardless of whether it involves real individuals or fictional depictions.

  • Prohibited Adult Content — This includes but is not limited to: adult videos, explicit images, erotic literature, hentai, and any content depicting sexual acts. Content that is suggestive or borderline in nature may also be removed at our discretion. Violations will result in immediate file removal and permanent account termination.

Upload Limits & Spam Protection

To maintain service quality and prevent abuse, the following limits apply: Maximum file size per upload is 1GB. Total platform storage is 2048 GB shared across all users. Uploads are rate-limited to 30 files per hour per IP address, with a minimum 2-second interval between uploads. Automated or excessive uploading will be blocked. These limits help ensure fair access for all users.

Platform Storage

avfile.io provides a total of 2048 GB of shared storage across all users. When this limit is approached, older files may be expired earlier than their set retention period to make room for new uploads. We monitor storage usage continuously and prioritize retaining files that are actively being downloaded.
